To receive the Agape Award, one must show a Christ-like attitude. All the recipients below has portrayed
amazing character at their church, home, & school. Each one has accomplished different tasks
for the Lord and has shown God's love thru their individual talents and ministries. Every person that has received
this award listened and learned from the late Phyllis Cook on Kid's Korner and the late Ron Thompson on Daily Devotions.

Trey McCoy

Trey is 17 years old and is a junior at Anderson County High School.  Trey has played football and started on Varsity all three years. His position is LB/RB/FB.  He mostly plays on the defense unless they need him to make a good block or run the ball some on offense. He was asked at the end of his sophomore year to be a captain for his team. Trey also does well in the classroom. He has a 3.3 gpa and when not playing He has a 3.3 gpa and when not playing football weightlifts during the offseason and trains with a personal sports trainer. He bench pressed 250 lbs when he was a freshman and by the end of his sophomore year he bench pressed 405 lbs. His goal is to bench press 500 lbs by the time he graduates. Last week, Anderson Co. played Hardin Valley and Trey got 17 tackles, 2 QB sacks, & 1 fumble recovery. That game earned him a spot on WBIR channel 10 in Knoxville as a nominee for defensive player of the week running against 3 other defensive players.
